Training
I hold a Masters degree majoring in Clinical Psychology. My training outside of formal academia has been through personal psychotherapy, individual and group supervision spaces centring psychoanalytic thought.
My analyst of a few years now and with whom I continue to work with, has allowed me to experience the fullness of life dreamt in a clinic. My experiences in analysis have taught me of myself, I doubt there is a relationship more complex, than one’s own relationship with themselves, others and the world around them. It is through this couch that the patient in myself could be birthed.
My supervisors of a few years now are Dr. Rachana Johri and Dr. Neetu Sarin. Both of whom have deeply touched and shaped me as a person and a therapist. It is through these screens that the therapist in myself continues to be grow.
I am currently a student of Observational Studies, a pre-clinical course at Psychoanalytic Therapy and Research Center, which is the Bombay Chapter of the Indian Psychoanalytic Society.
Areas of Work
I believe we can only attempt to imagine how the life of a patient and therapist unfolds in sessions over the years. I work with adults, across ages, cultures and backgrounds. I speak Telugu, and understand Tamizh, Kannada and Hindi. My areas of interest include the workings of intimacy, abuse, love and loss in relationships.
Sessions
I offer individual psychotherapy sessions for adults. We will meet online via Google Meet. A recurring link becomes the therapy clinic. The duration of a session is 50 minutes. My work week is Mon – Fri, 8 AM – 9 PM.
Please note that I am not qualified to offer psychometric testing, clinical assessments, prescribe medication. I work exclusively with adults, my training does not specialize in group therapy, children and adolescents, or couples work.
Fees
The fee per session is INR 1500. The annual fee hike is 15%, discussions regarding fee hike begin months ahead of fee revision.
Payments are requested in the first week of the following month. An invoice is emailed to the patient on the last working day of the month.
Please write to me for low fee slots, if needed. All low fee spaces are full (as of Aug ’26).
Frequency
As in analysis, I prefer meeting twice–thrice a week, on the same days at the same time. I believe this framework is crucial to discover and learn of the self, its relationship to the other and the world.
The duration of therapy may depend on the presenting concern and cannot be said with certainty at the start of the process. In my experience, long-term work, spanning six months to a year, may bring about change.
Please write to therapy@nethranotes.com for enquiries. Allow me a day to respond to your request.
I do not engage in crisis work outside of ongoing work with my patients.
